Directors' Biography
Douglas Gordon (b. 1966, Glasgow) is a Berlin-based artist who studied at the Glasgow School of Art and the Slade School of Art in London. Working across film, photography, text, sound and installation, he recontextualises found images through techniques such as slow motion and repetition. His work explores time, memory, originality and ethical tensions, including life and death, innocence and guilt, and good and evil.
