Directors' Biography
Janay Boulos is a Lebanese journalist and filmmaker who worked for BBC News from 2012–2021 before co-founding Habak Films with Syrian filmmaker Abd Alkader Habak. She has produced documentaries for BBC and Al Jazeera and participated in programs including IDFA Project Space and Sheffield DocFest. Habak is a Syrian cinematographer known for documenting the Syrian conflict and the siege of Aleppo. Now based in London, he continues working on documentary films.
