Summer in Gorizia. A couple is about to leave for their holidays. Between empty streets and closed cinemas, it all feels already behind them. Only Paolino remains, drifting through the city, reminiscing about a lost love.
Directors' Biography
Laura Samani (1989, Trieste) studied Philosophy and Literature in Pisa and filmmaking at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. Her short The Sleeping Saint premiered at Cannes Cinéfondation in 2016. Small Body is her acclaimed debut feature.
