In a strange delirium, she grabs the toolbox and pulls out her tooth with household pliers. In the mirror, she breaks the fourth wall and realizes that she’s in a film. Reality shifts. Ana slowly becomes aware of the camera, has a fight with mom and goes out with a friend. Mom keeps calling, Ana rejects calls, goes with her friend to his apartment. Ultimately, Ana’s paranoia makes her go home. She appears in a film-studio version of her apartment and witnesses her worst fear. Her mother is lying dead on the bed.
