Visual Conversations
Sophie Fiennes in conversation with Pamela Cohn
Fiennes will join Pamela Cohn, curator of this year’s Spotlight programme, to discuss the films and ideas that continue to inspire her, the realities of sustaining a long artistic life, and her enduring interest in finding new ways to engage with the world through filmmaking. She will also reflect on the lessons she shares with her film students at University College London.
The conversation will be followed by comments and questions from the audience.
DokuFest’s six-film Spotlight spans three decades of Fiennes’s work, including collaborations with Slavoj Žižek, Anselm Kiefer, Grace Jones, dancers, performers and communities. Read more about the programme and the featured films in: All Films Have Their Own Spirit: The Works of Sophie Fiennes
Admission to the Conversations is free. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
