Through family archives, everyday moments and intimate conversations, SHPI(J)A explores what it means to belong to more than one place and how the idea of “home” is carried, remembered, and reimagined across generations.
Directors' Biography
Valentina Ortega (*2001) studies German and Theatre Studies in Bern. Rooted in theatre, she is involved in several projects within her local cultural scene. She made her first short film in 2025. Her artistic practice explores questions of language, heritage, and feminism.
