THIRD WORLD is more than a documentary about Haustor, the legendary Zagreb band that shaped the music scene of former Yugoslavia. It is the story of two creative opposites: Darko Rundek and Srđan Sacher. Through insightful observations, a studio reunion, and vivid archival material, the film reveals how their shared fascination with the magic of everyday life once brought these two creative worlds together to create a third.
Directors' Biography
Arsen Oremović (b. 1966, Zagreb) studied film and TV directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art. After 25 years as a journalist, editor, and film critic, he debuted with the award-winning documentary Married to a Swiss Man (2013). His later works include Collision in the Castle (2014), Tak kak je (2017), Third World (2025), and the feature film Head of a Big Fish (2022). He also created several acclaimed documentary series.
