Zulfikar Filandra's newest film can be understood as his most minimal work, all footage is sourced except three personal photographs donated by his family - but again the final cinematic entity delivers timeless emotional depth and punch while dancing around the timeless themes of war and masculinity and the effect of these images on actual - lived - experienced - survived - reality.

Directors' Biography

Zulfikar Filandra is a filmmaker and ocassional curator from Sarajevo. His films are shaped by his education and life between Dublin, Sarajevo, Belgrade and Karlsruhe. All of his films are related to his personal life and most of his films deal with Bosnia in one way or another. Member of the programming team of Sarajevo Film Festival.
