My next short was Silver City – it, too, had an English title and consisted of eight shots. Each shot was as long as a 30-metre roll, all of the shots were long shots, extreme long shots. And they all showed streets or crossings.
Directors' Biography
Born in 1945, Wim Wenders came to international prominence as one of the pioneers of the World Cinema during the 1970’s and is considered to be one of the most important figures in contemporary German film.
