Synopsis

When Russian troops were entering Ukraine, the famous playwright Andriy Bondarenko wrote a play about life interrupted by the war. He focuses on his family’s life. The peace and tranquility which the author knew since childhood are succeeded by historical trauma, revolutions the war. And now, as an adult, Andriy faces a threat witnessed by the previous generations of his family. These thoughts were embodied in a single-act play written in response to the events that were unfolding.

Director Biography

Myro Klochko was born in Ukraine, in 2019 she got a bachelor's degree in film directing at FAMU in Prague. Since then she desperately looks for her own film path, which sees in combining documentary with fiction and creating magic realism in film. Anatoliy Tatarenko was born in 1989. In 2012 graduated from Kharkiv State Academy of Culture, Faculty of Cinema and Television Arts, where he studied cinematography. In 2016, his photographic organization Periscope started publishing books and organizing exhibitions. Anatoliy works with photography, theater, and videography.
