Synopsis

On the verge of the Kosovo war, the leader of the team of Finnish forensic experts, Helena Ranta is investigating the alleged war crimes. Truth could change the course of the war, therefore there are some, who would want her rather to stay silent.

Director Biography

Elli Rintala (1978) is a documentary film director and screenwriter living in Porvoo, working in Helsinki, Finland. She is a graduate of Aalto University School of Film (MA 2014, documentary film directing). Previously she studied film theory, art history and political history in the University of Turku (MA 2006, Media Studies).
