Synopsis

The border patrol of the USA is debating between eight prototypes designs, to build the wall at the Mexican border. In order to choose a winner, the officers try to pass through the structures, using technics learned from migrants and drug dealers.

Director Biography

Luis Gutiérrez Arias (b.1990) is a Mexican-Cuban filmmaker and video artist whose work explores notions of identity politics, neo-colonialism and the politics of cinema. His work has been shown at the NODOCCS Festival of Video Art (Caracas, Venezuela) and the CalArts Showcase 2018 (Los Angeles, CA). John Henry Theisen (b.1994) is a filmmaker from Omaha Nebraska but is currently living in California. He has worked on various commercial projects as a writer, director and editor and is now pursuing an MFA in Film and Video at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
