Synopsis

As a child, Gerda lived carefree only for a few years. In 1938 her family was deported to a ghetto in Poland. An animation based on recordings of Gerda passing her life story on to her granddaughter - the filmmaker.

Bernadette Moser, born in 1991 in Vienna. Multimedia and photography at the HTL Spengergasse.

Barbara Ecker born in 1987. University of Applied Arts Vienna and University of Arts Linz. Gerda Wunsch - The story of my grandmother as a persecuted Jewess in the Second World War is her first joint film.
