As a child, Gerda lived carefree only for a few years. In 1938 her family was deported to a ghetto in Poland. An animation based on recordings of Gerda passing her life story on to her granddaughter - the filmmaker.

<p>Bernadette Moser, born in 1991 in Vienna. Multimedia and photography at the HTL Spengergasse.</p>
<p>Barbara Ecker born in 1987. University of Applied Arts Vienna and University of Arts Linz. Gerda Wunsch - The story of my grandmother as a persecuted Jewess in the Second World War is her first joint film.</p>
