Kanun

Synopsis

Kanun, ancestral Albanian code, ruthless. Article 864 says: You'll avenge the death of a family member by the death of the murderer. But Article 602 requires respect and protection of house's guests, as if they were family. This evening, Adil will face the paradox of those laws he observed since forever.

Director Biography

After studies of editing and script continuity in the IAD, Sandra Fassio worked as film editor and script continuity on various projects of fictions, documentaries and for various television programs. She realized her first short film, "I Rafi" in 2011, which speaks about the Greek dictatorship. Her second short is a film noir film which has for theme Kanun, a code of Albanian honor.
