Angel, the great-grandfather of the director, was a carpenter, bricklayer, selling used clothing and professional pickpocket. Among his victims were five times president of Ecuador Velasco Ibarra and the founder of the Christian Social Party and President Camilo Ponce Enriquez. This documentary tells the story of a family as a metaphor for a broader and more complex social reality.
