The Absence

Synopsis

Mrs. Mary is an elder woman who lives alone in the country, far away from her loved ones and her late husband. For her, remembering has become something as essential as doing housework. Her birthday is coming and with it the promise that her family will go and visit her.

Director Biography

Arturo Baltazar is a student in the Department of Image and Sound of the University of Guadalajara. Currently, he works at the general direction of the audiovisual laboratory, Kinolab GDL, which already has two editions, and is in the postproduction of his new fictional short film Noctámbulos. He is also cinematographer in diverse short film projects.
