The Terbesh people of Kosovo that live in Lubinje, a village at the foot of the Sharri Mountains and very near to Prizren, have a tradition of dressing and making up a bride for her wedding day. It’s done to ward off the evil eye, and discourages gossip and speculation.
Yll Çitaku born in 1979, he graduated as a film director from the Academy of Arts at the University of Prishtina, Kosovo. His film Should I Stay or Should I Go (2001) won Best Film at the first edition of DokuFest in Prizren. He also directed, among others, Tatita (2005), Move with Me (2007), Blue Wall Red Door (2009) and Beyond the Road (2009).
