Pure State of the Soul

Synopsis

Yusuf Ires, is originally an Armenian from Dersim who lives as Muslim. He determines to be baptized at the age of 71. Although his wife Emine İres, 72, hardly accepts that issue of fact, she can not stop herself from interrogating the past.

Directors' Biography

Uğur Egemen Ires (1988, Istanbul) graduated from Cinema and TV Department of Anadolu University and works as a mixing assistant.
