Synopsis

A couple of homeless men lay sleeping on the floor of a bank vestibule. If you want to use the ATM, you’ll have to step right over them or find somewhere else. Kossakovsky captures the economic crisis in a single image.

Director Biography

Victor Kossakovsky was born July 19, 1961 in Leningrad (St. Petersburg). From 1978 to 1986 he was assistant cameraman, assistant director and editor of documentary films at Studio St. Petersburg. From 1986 to 1989, he studied at VGIK (National Film Institute) in Moscow. He has made documentaries in St. Petersburg since 1989.
