An estimated five million people are homeless in Russia, and one million of them are children. This film takes an unflinching yet poignant look at the lives of a group of children living in a garbage dump outside of Moscow, showing the hardships they face and the dreams they hold on to.
Directors' Biography
<p>In 2002 Hanna began her studies in the Cinematography division of The Cinematography School of Moscow. In 2004 Hanna completed work on her first independent short film on the life of legendary filmmaker Albert Maysles entitled, Al. Al first opened at the Documentary Film Festival in Krakow, Poland, where Albert Maysles received his Life-Time Achievement Award.</p>
