Synopsis

An avant-garde film by Man Ray entitled Emak Bakia (“Leave me alone” in Basque) unleashes the tale of a search. The house where it was filmed near Biarritz in 1926 had that peculiar name and the author decided to set out on foot to find it. The only things known about the mansion are the picture of its door and its two pillars. There is no mention of it in the archives and today no-one remembers the place. That’s why help and collaboration was asked of other informers like chance and the wind.
