Kosovo is the only country in the Western Balkans that has been left out of the EU’s visa liberalisation process. This has contributed to the further isolation of Kosovo and its citizens, which is already exaggerated as a result of limited international recognition of its staehood and passport. Kosovars suffer the highest rejection rate in the region when applying for a Schengen visa, and are increasingly finding themselves living in what can only be termed a physical and intellectual ghetto. This documentary examines the impact that these policies have on everyday life for Kosovars, their families, and businesses, whilst making the case for an end to the disriminatory treatment of our country.
