Kosovo, year zero recounts the days of Kosovo independence through the parallel stories of its two young protagonists, Arsenije and Kastriot, of the same age, both students in journalism, both Kosovar but separated by an inescapable identity: one is Serbian and the other is Albanian. Their perspectives are separated by history but both with the need to understand the world surrounding them.
Directors' Biography
<p>Born in Rome the 26th of December, 1979. After various documentaries, reportages and a MA course in Visual Anthropology at the Manchester University, he renews his interest for both micro and social dynamics with 2+1, intimate portrait of two siblings and The Pink Singers, documentary on gender identity. The food, in its meaning of material culture and crossed by a generational conflict, is the focus of Caught in a Magic Place.</p>
