This is a tale about the death of Goleshovo, a forgotten town in the mountains of Bulgaria. Here, a handful of old people struggle for survival: A couple fights with their donkey. A forgetful priest leads his congregation into confusion. A woman cheers up her friends with songs. Will their children ever return? This observational documentary is an austere yet ultimately rewarding portrait of hope.

Directors' Biography

<p>Have grown up with a violin in my hand, but it is within film that my interest in people and my musical sensibility converge. In the past, I have worked for a number of design and communication agencies. In 2008, I graduated from the National Film and Television School with an MA in Documentary Direction. At the present, I am working with Angus Macqueen at Ronachan Films. I am always interested in projects that challenge and reflect our times.</p>
