Since its inception, DokuFest has sought to foster a greater appreciation for filmmaking, as well as encourage those interested in the craft to venture into filmmaking waters – especially when the goal is to foster change or incite debate.
The “EkoVideo” campaign, a continuation of our longtime focus on environmental issues (such as the GreenDocs film slate), attempts to do just that – foster potential filmmakers who are passionate about environmental issues and give them the opportunity to stir up support and galvanize people through their films.
Launched this week, the “EkoVideo” campaign will be accepting completed films no longer than 5 minutes in length focusing on a particular issue, a society’s approach to the issue, and possible solutions or progress that has been made in tackling the issue.
The application deadline is August 1st, and all videos should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your environmental films will be selected by a professional jury and the winning films will be screened during the 15th edition of DokuFest, which will take place August 5-13, 2016 in Prizren.
Please make sure to include the name(s) of the applicant(s), the title of your video or short documentary and all contact details.
