Synopsis

After more than 15 years as an international lawyer, Marie is now facing her biggest challenge ever. She is main judge in the biggest corruption case within the EU operated EULEX mission in Kosovo. PATRIOTIC HIGHWAY goes deep into the corrupted political structures of Kosovo as well as the diplomatic power games surrounding international court rulings. A tale about justice, corruption and the road to a newborn nation.

Director Biography

PATRIOTIC HIGHWAY is her first feature film. She is currently developing her second feature length documentary. At the same time, Caroline is cinematographer on three documentary projects directed by Magnus Gertten and produced by Auto Images. She has recently been DOP on Gertten’s feature documentary Every Face Has a Name and Becoming Zlatan. Caroline started off making short documentaries inspired by storytellers in the childhood surroundings far out in deep forests of Northern Skåne, Sweden. From 2007-2011 she produced and directed about 10 larger and 35 small productions.
