Synopsis

Who are the Mormons, really? That is the question on the mind of Talena Sanders, an ex-Mormon, as she takes us to Salt Lake City, Utah. Liahona is not about snap judgments: it is a visual, insider’s exploration of the world of Mormonism and its history. Liahona is a first film that presents a subtle, deeply personal tapestry, resulting in an idiosyncratic look at the United States in historical context.
