After decades of silence survivors and relatives of the victims of a mass atrocity establish a People’s Court. They will testify against a crime carried out by the Iranian regime, a crime that has been kept secret from the public for more than 25 years. Those responsible for these crimes now hold high government office in Iran. Their secret would be safe, if it was not for the efforts of some survivors. Now is their chance to put Iran on trial for their crimes against humanity.
Nima Sarvestani, born December 22 1958, is a Swedish-Iranian filmmaker. He started his career working as a journalist in Iran, before coming to Sweden 1984. Since then he has been working as a filmmaker, directing and producing documentaries. He founded Nimafilm Production in 1987. For the past 26 years, NimaFilm has been producing miscellaneous films in which unique global issues and personal life storys have been brought to audiences worldwide.
