Synopsis

On April 10, 2010 the President of the Polish Republic was killed in a plane crash along with 95 other passengers. The film meticulously and quietly observes the rehearsals for the military ceremony intended to receive his body from Russia, where the crash occurred. The absence of coffins transforms the rehearsal into a cinematic-theatrical performance symbolizing loss.

Director Biography

Born in 1965, graduated from the Polish National School of Film, Television and Theater in Łódź. He has been co-founder and head of the Film Studio Plus from Warsaw since 1995, producing among other things commercials, music videos, public service spots, news coverage, animations and documentary films.
