A Film About the Pixies follows the ups and downs of the recent reformation and hugely successful reunion tour of this seminal quartet, and provides an intimate look at the complex personalities and relationships that define them as a band and as individuals.
Steven is a founding partner of Stick Figure Productions. In 1994, his short documentary Blood Ties about photographer Sally Mann was nominated for an Academy Award®.
Matthew Galkin is director/producer and recently co directed a music video for LCD Soundsystem with director James Murphy. Prior to that, he produced the HBO documentary series Family Bonds. Galkin is a graduate of NYU.
