On the eve of her high-school graduation party Veera finds out from her mother that her father has said he is staying alive only for the party. Her rejected boyfriend threatens Veera with a suicide as well. As everybody collapses around her Veera holds herself together.

Born in 1976, she studies at the University of Art and Design Helsinki (UIAH), School of Motion Picture, Television and Production Design, majoring in Documentary Film.
