We have curated a special program for our DokuKids, featuring films, animation workshop on possible futures, dancing classes, games and lots of cosmic love!

FILM PROGRAM: What the future brings
10  & 11 August @ LUMBARDHI CINEMA
10 AM

Two programs curated by our friends at VIS Vienna Shorts especially for the little ones, entitled “Day-dreamers” and “Cosmic Love”. The films will present playful and thoughtful ideas on the concept of time, space and reality. The characters within the short films show us that even if the future sometimes appears scary, overwhelming and demanding, we can overcome these challenges with courage and bravery. In particular the films invite a young audience to consider how human close connections grow and what distinguishes one person from another. What is it about other people that we fear, and what is real within an artificial picture?

Dates: 05th – 11th of August every day from 11:00-14:00

Venue: Loyola
Open to ages: 6-10
Guided by our friends at Loyola school, young participants will explore their imagination through drawing, painting, paper craft, acting and will create a dream world which will resembles their wishes and desires.  A photo collection will be created and used as a slideshow by the end of the workshop.

Date: 4- 12 august

Open to ages: 7 -15
Venue: Loyla
Led by Prizren’s PasseBallet, kids will learn three happy and joyful choreographies; through team work, elegant dancing and socializing. The workshops will be crowned with final dance performers in front of the festival’s audience.
Final performance: August 12, at Shadervan Square at 16:00 and Kino Lumbardhi at 18:00.

Date: 9 – 10 august, 11.00hrs

Fortresses are fascinating places, full of history and interesting stories from the past. But, what is the purpose of the fortresses today, and what they are going to look like in the future? Led by Ana Nedeljkovic and Nikola Majdak Jr., Dokukids will make a short animated film about future look of the Prizren fortress, making photos and learning the basic techniques of animation.
