The Wall by Nikola Polic was selected for the regional competition program at ZagrebDox International Documentary Film Festival. The festival is the biggest of its kind in South East Europa and will mark its ninth edition from February 24th and March 3rd in Zagreb.
The Wall by nineteen year old filmmaker Polic shows the story of a school in the village of Rubovce in Kosovo where a wall still separates the young Albanian and Serbian students. The documentary is a result of the project Human Rights Film Factory – Human Rights Stories from the Kosovo Margins funded by EU Office in Kosovo and implemented by DokuFest.
DokuFest Human Rights Film Factory films continue touring in programs of international film festivals around the world. So far the films screened in Winterthur Festival in Switzerland, Free Zone Festival in Belgrade, Pravo Ljudski in Sarajevo and Contours of Contemporary Kosovo in Istanbul.
