Yiannis Boutaris, a top winemaker, prominent member of civil society and honored environmental activist, is at 68 the unconventional independent mayoral candidate for Thessaloniki, Greece’s second largest city. As the country sinks in a crisis spiral, Boutaris struggles against visible and invisible opponents. A 10 weeks documentaristic odyssey that tries to explore among others what love’s got to do with it.

Dimitris Athiridis was born in Thessaloniki-Greece. After his studies as mech. engineer he made a long career in advertisement as a photographer and D.O.P. for commercials and documentaries. His first feature documentary film "T4 trouble and the self admiration society" (director-co producer) was officially selected by the 11th TDF 2009, Trieste film festival 2009, was awarded at L.A. Greek Film Festival and was released in cinema theatres in Greece and broadcasted by the Greek national broadcaster, ERT.
