Kai and his father Tauno drive from Oulu in northern Finland down to Gothenburg where they lived during the '70s. The drive becomes a musical journey through emotional memories and the history of Finnish emigration to Sweden; a history too of shame, guilt, crime, alcoholism and family secrets.
